Beautiful shrub of Australian origin.
It is grown in the garden, in full earth, or in pots, in a very sunny place, in fresh and rich soil, slightly acid.
It needs fairly regular summer watering, as it does not tolerate prolonged drought. Every 12-15 days add fertilizer for flowering plants to the water.
In summer it produces particular panicles of red flowers, similar to large bright pipe cleaners; when the flowers wither it is advisable
remove them, because they tend to dry out, together with the tips of the branches that carry them: pruning in addition to benefiting the aesthetic appearance of the plant, will also favor a denser growth of the entire shrub.
They can fear the most intense frosts, so we provide to cover the shrubs in winter, using woven fabric.
