How to plant beans for a good harvest

The question of how to plant beans worries many novice gardeners. For sowing, beds that have become vacant by the end of summer are also suitable, which can then be fertilized by burying the dried green mass into the soil.

Thanks to the nodules on the roots, beans perfectly enrich the soil with nitrogen. We plant the beans to a depth of 2-3 centimeters, leaving 25 - 30 cm between the plants (for bush varieties). The number of rows, the distance between which is 35 - 40 cm - no more than four. Climbing and semi-churning beans must be planted in nests, each containing 5 to 7 seeds. If there are no suitable supports nearby, we build them ourselves, planting around pegs driven into the ground.

Both dry and sprouted seeds are suitable for planting in the soil. For pecking, they must be spread out on damp gauze and left for 2 - 3 days, avoiding drying out. In order not to spoil the young sprout, be careful. After planting in dry land, watering is necessary.

Having figured out how to plant beans, you should also think about proper care. Waterlogging at the beginning of growth causes excessive overgrowth of leaves. This will slow down the formation of fruits, so after planting, watering can be stopped before flowering. When the flowers begin to open, the moisture demand of the plants increases significantly. The norm is from 15 to 20 liters of water per 1 m².
